Pretty Things Boutique held it's first annual fashion show "Feminine & Fabulous" (A Celebration of All Things Girly) on Saturday June 19th at the St. Antonio's Olympic Center (2304 Hunter Street Halifax, NS). The event was hosted by the wonderfully talented Candy Palmater (http://www.thecandyshow.com/) with 100% of all profits from the night going directly to the Adsum House for Women & Children (http://www.adsumforwomen.org/). Adsum is a Halifax based not for profit organization which assists over 12,000 youth and women (and their children) each year through their programs. The "Feminine & Fabulous Fashion Show" offered more than just a standard fashion show with the over all theme of the show being a fun filled "night out with the girls". Nurturing self esteem, portraying positive body images and creating a sense of community with this show while also networking with other locally owned businesses.
